Is Success a Limiting Outlook?

( – Success isn’t the answer. Hear me out! I know we’ve all been programmed to believe we need to write down our goals and work on them diligently until we realize them. That’s what it’s all about, right? But what happens once you’ve finally arrived? What do you do then? Take a look at what Mike Posner says about it:

How do you define success — or better yet, what do you need to be successful? In your 20s, it might involve earning a degree or landing a job with a company you love. But do you just give up when you meet those goals? No! The goalpost just gets pushed further out. You may want to earn a raise or a promotion.

You might want to spend more time with your family. Your goals will and should always change, which means you’ll never truly arrive at success.

It isn’t a final destination. It’s a journey.

The key to true, lifelong success is to change and adapt to who you are at the moment. Define your goals according to what you want out of life right now. If you do that, you’ll never be limited by your initial vision of success.
